Giraffe Yoga?
Gavin loved visiting the new African exhibit at the Peoria Zoo. It was actually quite impressive. However, when we left and asked him which animal was his favorite he said he likes the Farm Park better. I guess we will save our money next time since we have a pass to the Farm Park!
We went to Wildlife Prairie Park and walked the trails to see all of the animals, went down the giant slide and rode the train. Gavin's favorite part was the train!
We spent our weekend at Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort in Utica visiting with some good friends. Gavin had a blast! He is such a fish and couldn't get enough of the waterpark. We didn't even make it to the amusement park, but we did go on a train ride around the grounds. He loved the little slide that went into the baby pool. He would land straight on his butt and just bounce (thankfully they had a nice foam landing). He also liked the 'big' slide. Unfortunately, the only picture I got was with Jason's back side. Gavin started making him go down the slide with him! We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
Brady invited us to his birthday party at the Chiefs game. Gavin had so much fun helping Brady celebrate and here he is enjoying a birthday cookie. The injury on the nose was from the day before....after taking a spill on the concrete at the farm park.
This is inside the one room school house at the farm park. Gavin is asking why there is a hole in the desk. I think his teachers are going to love him!
Since Dad has never been to the Farm Park we decided to take him to meet the animals. All of the animals were really hungry so we had a great time!
We were hoping it would clear off so we could get a decent family photo outside....maybe next time. For some reason Gavin just wants to act goofy when we try to take family photos.
