Swingin'

Sprinklers

Jason played in a golf tournament over the weekend in P'burg so we met him there on Saturday. Grandpa turned the sprinklers on for Caleb and Gavin and they had a great time running all over the yard. Gavin is filling up the bucket so Grandpa can throw the water at him!

New sleeping position

I went in to check on Gavin one last time before I went to bed around 11 p.m. and this is what I found! I have since found him two other times like this. I figured out (after hearing a thump one night) that he falls off the mattress and doesn't quite make it back onto the bed.

Tuesdays

We have a standing playdate with John and Eve every Tuesday. The kids go swimming (if it is warm enough) and mommies get to chat. They were sharing a snack in this pic.

VBS

This was the first night at VBS. Gavin had a blast the entire week, but he thought they had too many toys....hmmmm.

Water play

Gavin loves to play in the water so if I am trying to get something done in the kitchen I stick him at the veggie sink and let him play. When he is finished the counter, floor and his entire body including hair are soaked!

Swim Lessons

Gavin took swim lessons and LOVED it! He is a fish and wants to go swimming every day! Unfortunately, this was the first couple of weeks in June and it was freezing at 9 a.m. even though the pool was supposedly at 80 degrees.

Turkey Festival

Since Gavin didn't care about riding carnival rides (and I thought it was ridiculous to pay $8 for him to ride one ride) we let him play the pick a duck game. He thought this was super fun and he got a stuffed puppy to put in his pile of stuffed animals that he could care less about.

Big Tub

Ali went to bed extra early tonight so since they share a bathtub that adjoins their rooms we decided to let Gavin take a bath in our bathtub so he didn't wake her up (how's that for a run-on sentence, ha!). He got in and said, "I am way down here!". We didn't fill it up enough for him to run the jets, but he was blowing bubbles of his own here. He was practicing for swim lessons tomorrow!
