The best part of the christmas season....riding the train at the mall. Although you would never know just how exciting by the look on his face.

Gavin decorated his first gingerbread house this year. It would have been great to have a picture of the finished product. I suck.

Logan and Gavin's Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Logan's first birthday and since they missed Gavin's birthday party we got to celebrate his birthday too. All of the kids had a great time playing together!

First Snow of Dec 2009

Gavin could not wait to get outside after he saw the snow. He has been waiting for this for days! We built a tiny snowman and then he helped me shovel the driveway, sidewalk and deck.

First trip to the dentist

Gavin did fantastic for his first visit to the dentist! He got to pick out red (his favorite color) sunglasses. His favorite part was using the suction pipe (Mr. Slurpy).

First skating party

Gavin went to his first skating party. Jason was the lucky one who got to take him, but my cousin helped quite a bit!

Swim Lessons

Gavin took swim lessons at the Riverplex in the warm water pool. He loved it and Dad was lucky he didn't have to get in the pool with him when we did swim lessons at the Tremont pool in June and it was freezing!

Although most of the animals were gone for the winter they brought back some goats, bunnies and a horse. Gavin really missed the pig though!

Gavin and Dad in the covered bridge. They really went to a lot of work to put this together for the young trick or treaters. We were super impressed and will certainly be going back next year! Gavin doesn't quite get trick or treating yet. He kept asking me when we went to bed that night, "why did those girls give me candy?" and I explained to him how Halloween works and he kept saying, "but why???". So many things to learn when you are 2!

Our Dragonsaurus

Gavin loves Dinosaur Train and Pete's Dragon, so he was a dragonsaurus for Halloween. He wasn't too sure about wearing the costume until we told him we were going to the Farm Park and then he was all about it!

Pumpkin Patch

Our church has a pumpkin patch each year so we went and picked out our pumpkins (pumppins). Gavin had a blast and had the whole wagon full of pumpkins by the time it was all done. We had to put a few back which turned out to be equally as fun!

Chess

Gavin playing chess by himself. He carried all of the pieces and made this huge line. Luckily it was not a busy day at the museum and he pretty much had the third floor to himself!

We went to the Farm Park one last time before they closed for the season. This was great fun for us over the summer!

Out for a drive

Gavin is loving his Gator this summer! He can always find a project that needs assistance from the Gator. Anything he can loadup, backup and dump is the best!

Brother/Sister photo shoot

I was trying to get a good picture of them together, but I decided it is just a losing battle. She was trying to get away the whole time and then Gavin decided it was funny and started letting go of her and letting her fall (with a little extra push). She is going to be one tough girl by the time he gets done with her.
