Ready for vacation!

Gavin tried on his new swimsuit today. Jason had to hold on to him because he wouldn't hold still for the picture. We are all ready for vacation!

Easter Egg Hunt #3

Gavin was very excited to see that the easter bunny came to grandma and grandpa's house too! He had his third easter egg hunt and as soon as he discovered that the easter bunny who came to grandma's house had put cookies in the eggs he was all about it! He found every egg there was to find!

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Gavin had his second easter egg hunt at church. He found one egg and that was the only one he cared about. He was ready to go after that!

Gavin's Chair

The easter bunny brought Gavin his very own chair with his name on it. He loves it and always sits in it to "read" his books. Abbey has discovered the chair and thinks it is just a perfect size for her to lay in, but as soon as Gavin sees her in it he runs over and tells her , "no, no, no, no" and pushes her off. We have yet to master the concept of sharing!

Easter Egg Hunt

We celebrated Easter with the Devermans on Good Friday. Gavin and Caleb had an easter egg hunt in the back yard. Gavin ended up not finding any eggs on his own because the grass was mushy and he wouldn't walk on it. Just one of his many quirks!

Being good!

This was Gavin's behavior for the entire party. He was so good! For him to sit and listen to a book just like that is very out of character. : )

Great Granny's 75th Birthday Party

Here is Gavin with a few of his second cousins at Great Granny's 75th birthday party. He had a blast playing with all of the big kids!

Front-facing

We decided it was time to turn Gavin around in his carseat. As you can see, he is much happier now that he can see what is going on.

Open Gym

Gavin's entertainment at open gym last week was to walk up the ramp carrying a block and the streamers. He did this many many times! His attention span is certainly getting longer.

New Outfit

Gavin was posing in his new outfit from the Heisers. He loves wearing the hat and always puts it on before we leave the house (no matter what outfit he is wearing!)

Happy Birthday Caleb

Gavin had a front row seat to watch Caleb open his birthday presents. Needless to say, the easter bunny is bringing Gavin a chair of his very own.

Musical Shoe Horn

Gavin loves his music class so much that he tries to find anything at home he can make music with. He found Jason's shoe horn and started making "music" with it on the metal gate.
